TRAVEL

The simplest way to get to Sligo is to fly to Dublin and travel down to Sligo by either flight, rail or bus. We include link to Dublin Airport to enable you to access airlines flying there and to the Irish Tourist Board web site if you want to book accommodation in Ireland on route to Sligo.Sligo Airport at Strandhill is a twenty minute drive to Sligo, and taxis are usually available to meet flights.

Sligo Station and Bus Station are ten minute walk to The Yeats Memorial Building amd the centre of Town.

Students flying directly to the school are advised that rail and coach transportation from Dublin to Sligo is more convenient than connecting coaches from Shannon. The School will help students make bed and breakfast reservations.

Please visit the sites below for information on how to get to and from the Yeats International Summer School.
